Malia was very personable and professional. This was our first homeschool/proof of progress evaluation so we didn’t know what to expect. She made it very clear what was expected during the meeting. Our son was a bit nervous as first but she made him very comfortable almost immediately. I loved how she let him lead the conversation which made him end the evaluation feeling very proud and accomplished of his school year. I would definitely recommend Malia and will be using her again in the future.
I scheduled our meeting with reluctance because I needed to find someone that could understand how my neurodiverse grandson may not learn in the "typical" fashion. I was thrilled that she seemed to totally understand him and cheer him on in his endeavors. Next year, I will be making 3 appointments so she can evaluate all three of my grandkids. She made this very easy on all of us.
Ms. Malia was very personable and made my daughter feel very at ease as the accomplishments of the school year were discussed / gone over etc. We were extremely pleased with her help to ensure that our daughter had learned adequate lessons to be in compliance with Fairfax County's guidelines of progress for grade level 4. Thanks so very much, and we will highly recommend her to our other homeschooling families!
Malia is very professional and sensible, she takes her time to explain the process and address any concerns you may have. She is knowledgeable and provides feedback commensurate with your short-term and long-term educational goals. Honestly, this was a smooth process and we are so happy to count on her as a professional, she is courteous and a kind evaluator.
